The Grand Canyon!

Two weeks ago we decided to drive out to the Grand Canyon for the day. I had no idea it was so close to Saint George. We had so much fun and it was an amazing site. I can't believe I had waited so long to see it. We got to see some sites Ryan used to love when he was a wild land fire fighter. It even snowed a little. Fun day! I also broke my camera (the second one this year) so I might not have any pictures for a while. :-(

Adam and Melissa are staying in Utah

I guess it's official. We are staying in Utah after Adam graduates. Right now the offer he is going to accept is from Kirton McConkie in Salt Lake. He is waiting for one more offer that he hopes to come in from another Salt Lake firm but it's not looking good. It's been a long hard process and a rough decision to make. No one is more surprised than me that Adam picked Utah. I was actually pretty excited to be by Disneyland. Utah will be good. Not as good, but good all the same. :)

Autumn

We had a blast picking apples and berries this year and the boys had just as much fun making homemade applesauce and raspberry jam.

Kylie Rolls

Kylie started rolling over from her back to front last week and now we can't seem to keep her in one place for too long. She went to the dr for her 4 month shots..all is well. She weighed 12 pounds 14 ounces and was 24 inches long. She has also taken up the habit of thumb sucking. I know it's probably not the best habit to form, but she looks adorable while sleeping with her little thumb in her mouth.

I just wanted to post a pic of Madden playing football at football practice w/ his friend James...He certainly lives up to his name, especially when it comes to tackling the other guy!

Introducing the Chicago Bears QB-Hayden Kaas

Hayden's football season has offically started and he is really excited to be playing for the Chicago Bears...as quarterback:) He has a game this Saturday at 10am at Wheatfield Park in Menifee...He will have games on Wednesdays,Thursdays, and Saturdays. Once we have the offical schedule we will be sure to post it for all!!! He sure does love an audience!!!

-So each of us girls remembers being subjected to the "pink spongey rollers". Well, I tried it out on Chloe and got my very own Shirley Temple...she of course loves it and got really mad when anyone touched or messed up her hair...it actually stayed curly all day long...maybe there is hope for her hair yet!!!

It snowed in Utah!

It totally snowed this morning at our house. It is mostly melted by now but it was sure fun to wake up to! Maybe I don't hate it as bad as I thought I did. Sure miss you all!! -Melissa

Grand Opening
